Thanks to everybody who made it out to the wedding a week ago or so and thanks to everyone who wanted to come but who couldn't. The weather was beautiful, the parade was perfect and we were in very good company. While not entirely traditional, it was fun, will be memorable, and was exactly the sort of thing that both Mika and I had envisioned. I've just posted a blog entry with a longer wrap-up here: http://mako.cc/copyrighteous/reflections/20060605-00.html We've set up a wiki with information on future parties (certainly in Seattle and perhaps also in other cities). You can visit it here: http://wiki.mako.cc/WeddingWiki There are many pictures linked from the Cambridge page on the wiki. If you have pictures, you should link them from that page or mail them to us and we'll put them online: http://wiki.mako.cc/WeddingInCambridge Regards, Mako -- Benjamin Mako Hill mako at debian.org http://mako.cc/ From mako at debian.org Sun Jun 11 18:29:50 2006 From: mako at debian.org (Benj. I've done it before and it's a really good scene. I would do another one except that it looks like I'll be in Paris for the Ubuntu developer summit. You could talk about your Debian work, another upstream project that you work on, or something else. I'll be in town by then--but, uh, I've never given a talk before and I probably will have close to zero time to prepare anything considering I only get to town two days before that, and I'm busy with graduation stuff this week. Though, let me know if it's desperate. Cheers, Christine -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
